شارژر وایرلس یا بی‌سیم بر مبنای برقراری ارتباط بی‌سیم میان یک فرستنده و یک گیرنده ایجاد شده است.
در شارژرهای وایرلس جریان الکتریکی به میدان مغناطیسی قابل ارسال تبدیل شده و در نقطه گیرنده، دوباره به ولتاژ برگردانده می‌شود. می توان گفت که توسط تولید میدان مغناطیسی پروسه شارژدهی انجام می گیرد . یعنی پایه و اساس شارژ وایرلس بر سیم پیچ استوار است.
